Creature101.com is a website created in partnership with Teachers College Columbia University. Its goal is to promote behavior change in 9-12 year olds, or “tweens”, based on a proven school health curriculum. The website features a virtual “Tween World” of creatures, social networking, and Flash-based games with educational content. After learning about healthy foods and how to make informed decisions, tweens are encouraged to change their dieting and physical activity habits with the website tracking their progress. Currently in summative evaluation.
